It means the provider/booker is checking email and/or voice mail somewhat frequently.

Whether you can book an appoint in the next hour or two, that is hit or miss, even if you are already screened.  If you are not pre-screened, allow sufficient time.

a popular, already booked, K-doll to generate business to a less busy colleague as well generate interst and advance bookings for the featured K-doll.

i have no idea how it is used by non K-bookers.

I have found this helpful on Sundays.  Several months ago, almost all the K-girls did NOT work on Sundays.  With the "available now" icon, you can tell who is probably available without having to call each of the dozen or so bookers in LA.

On-line now which may or may not mean close to computer or cell phone

...call the K girls that are Available Now and have good success.

I use the online now feature for CV but I also state that I am available with a certain amount of notice.
Or if I am available for same day appts I will indicate that as well.
Keep in mind when a provider uses the online now does not necessarily mean she is available right that second as the online now feature needs to be updated every 2hr.
Also,I have found at times CV has put every ad as online now in my city and I have seen my ad as online now even though I did not hit the online now button.
So,don't just automatically assume that a provider is ready just because she is online now she still needs time to screen.
