I am flying into Burbank and need to stay in Arcadia, CA on the 19th. After that, I can go anywhere. As for myself, I like the beach. And I like nightlife... I hear good things about Santa Monica.. But I don't spend much time in L.A. What do you all recommend? For a place in Arcadia, and any other good areas/hotels. I would like to be convenient to you and have a sexy, fun time.
Unfortunately Arcadia is not very close to Santa Monica, 40 miles as the crow flies that could take two hours in rush hour. If you can stay in Santa Monica after the 19th that would be the best place to enjoy the best that LA has to offer and you are just a few miles from the delights of Beverly Hills. Santa Monica Hotels at the beach will be pricey but in my view worth it. Check out The Fairmont, Loew's and Le Merigot. Shutters at the Beach and Casa Del Mar are very expensive. Have fun! No great hotels in Arcadia. Embassy Suites is about as good as it gets. One interesting thing to see near Arcadia would be Huntington Library which has amazing gardens.
