A recommendation for providers, if a hobbyist is unable to keep an appointment and gives you sufficient notice, have the professionalism to acknowledge that you received the message so the hobbyist isn't left hanging.  Remember, this is a business and how you handle it will impact your future success.

I'll admit sometimes I don't reply if I'm canceled on shorter notice but if someone cancels the evening prior I usually reply asking if there is anything wrong or if they want to pin down a different time.






If you cancel, don't worry about being left hanging. If she doesn't reply she isn't worth the time.
