Earlier this week I had seen a provider that had stellar reviews, both in looks and service.  This hasn't been the first incident, but I found her to be a far cry from the 9's and 10's she received in looks.  This wasn't a case of one man's stone is another man's diamond, she was just unattractive--a 5 at best.  Slim figure, but the face was just not... had I seen her at they gym or walking down the street it wouldn't have earned a glance or a second look.

I think people get caught up in the experience, shill the provider, or simply make up the review.  My MO from now on is to look for the lowest common denominator among the reviews and accept that as truth... a 6 among a sea of 9 and 10's holds more validity now.

I too think most  are inflated  even mine   like you said  men get caught up in the moment , in the real world not many of us would be  a 10  or even  a nine  I am happy with a good review regardless of the score had a 6/6  recently but it was a great well composed   review  and I sent him  a pm to thank him for taking the time to write it.....there is nothing wrong with being a nice time  just when it is used in a mean way or worse by someone you have never even met.

...but I also use a rational system to make the review of reviews more helpful.  If I know the gal the reviewer has seen, and his estimate is about the same as mine, I log that away in what's left of my brain.  Then, when I see this reviewer reviewing a gal I have not seen, I know I can somewhat rely on it.  Like listening to a friend about a movie -- it helps if you've seen some movies together.  But even that is no guarantee.  I mean, there are movies I thought stunk that my friends liked, and vice versa, but it does help to have some common ground....

Also, any 9/10 comments from a ONE REVIEW gal by a ONE REVIEW hobbyist, I just assume is a lie.  Not a guarantee -- I mean, Brooke Song had a first review, right?

that's what pictures are for, no?  if someone has rave reviews but no web presence, I'm not interested.  yes things can be airbrushed and photoshopped etc. but in the end ... I've seen someone several times who doesn't think she's a 10, and I've also read folks who said something like "I gave her a 9 in looks because models are tall and she wasn't" WTF?

in the end, caveat emptor, and I agree about folks with 1 review from a reviewer that has only given 1 review. then again, someone I find breathtking others may not, and people I've seen that had 9s, nsm.  I dint think assu, ing the lowest review is accurate. typically when I read someone's stand out bad review, it's typically obvious that they can't even put a coherent sentence together, or brought serious attitude the the appointment. I think the majority rules in these cases.

Contacting the reviewers directly is far more effective than reviews where the reviewer may be intimidated by the independent providers and bookers who scorn a score of 7 , or is a friend of the providers , or is among hobbyist who get an opportunity to be the first to review new and rebranded girls , the reviews could simply be fabricated to get VIP membership on TER.

I also rely on a handful of bookers whose recommendations I trust.

i've got to say, i'm pretty new, but i don't get the knack some of these ladies must have for summoning the shills.  hell, 1 or 2 10 10s, maybe, but months of great reviews for mediocre talent?  i don't get  how that happens.  and mixed in there will be other reviews that saw it your way, so you know youre not crazy.  Plus, there are plenty of great ladies with great reviews that are accurate.  beginning to see why guys repeat.  what are your tricks for discovering the shills without spending a whole session?

i read the highest review and then the lowest, then i skim the totals of the rest, and subtract one for enthusiasm of being w/a girl that will do you that everyone adds to their reviews, and kind of average it out.  unless a girl gets all 8, 9 and 10, then i pretty well assume she's a knockout both in looks and performance.

I couldn't agree more.  Is "model material" really up for discussion? What's next?  We have to break it down to print modeling versus runway?  A Target supplement versus Victoria's Secret?  Howabout we argue over what's "hot" and leave 9's and 10's for the truly deserving.

True words that will last the test of time.

How many of you have been to galleries and museums; looking at the different styles and eras of art and find some to be beautiful while others you wonder who was on LSD. The same can be applied with these providers. I like the comment by Sleateater regarding debating model material. For me a model is not just a Maxim or Playboy model. I also like the models in 40 Plus and I also like the models in Low Rider magazine. But I don’t like most models in Ebony or Jet. The same with runway models, they look underfeed to me. I recently had a date with a civie that I went to high school with, she was not my type back then but now in her 40s she is a stunner to me. But many of you would have killed to fuck her back then; she was too skinny and had no boobs. Well after two kids and a divorce, she has some (What look like) amazing double d cups with a curvy yet solid body. I love yoga and she lifts weights now.

So my point is there will always be a discrepancy, I have glanced at the reviews for BBWs and always scratched my head why they get such high marks.

Your best bet is to look at who else the reviewer and you have seen. See if there are common views on service and beauty, with a grain of salt added for YMMV rule.

But for some inexplicable reason those in power choose to keep an appearance rating system that is 'Standard-less' to begin with while lending itself to every innocent as well as culpable influence and manipulation.

A much less corruptible as well as possibly less cruel way to score would be to score the faithfulness of the provider’s advertised photos to how she REALLY looks.

PROVIDER PHOTO FIDELITY

1. Not the woman in the photos

2. Far from the truth

3. 10 years & 25+ pounds ago maybe

4. Face/eyes obscured & body doesn’t match

5. Face/eyes obscured but body matches

6. Total Glamour shots using all the tricks

7. Glamorized but realistic

8. Artfully posed but representative

9. Very fair representation

10. What you see is totally what you get

TER has effected a lot of good policy as well as positive changes over the last decade. Many of the aforementioned added to the creditability of the review system. So WHY after 12 years is the scoring of appearance still based on personal aesthetic taste, a temporal post coital euphoria, venal influence/interest, or possibly malevolent vengeance.
