Am I being unreasonable?red_smile

Hello All. I've been a (admitted) lurker on this board for years. I'm just recently gotten back in the hobby and don't have any references (my few reviews are very old). I have specific things I like in a provider (don't we all) and would like to ask before I commit to an appointment.
I'm perfectly willing to provide any information anyone needs to prove I'm legit (work info, cell number, etc) and be interviewed by whomever.
I jus recently contacted a couple of agencies and asked to be pre-screened so I can ask the questions I'd like to ask without being out of line. One of them even said, based on my info in the email, that I was okay, but when I asked my questions (and yes they're specific) suddenly they went dark.
Hey, I totally get the need for safety and that asking questions about sex can be a warning sign, but there's got to be a better way. Again, I don't want to get ripped-off by making an appointment only to find out I won't get what I'm looking for.
So, am I being unreasonable? Thoughts?

Thanks,
Boski

Why don't you spend the $20 and read the reviews on this site. That is why they are here and the purpose of this site.  Ya know!

Thanks but I'm already a vip member of TER and have been for years. There are many models at agencies that have no reviews but if some of their models are reviewed I figure they're legit.
My point is, if I can prove I'm legit, why can't I contact a provider or agency and say I want this, this, and this, without them getting spooked and going silent?

My observations.
1. Read the reviews and you won't have to ask specific questions.
2. Doesn't matter whether we or you think you're reasonable. If the booker doesn't like your questions or the way you come across or feel uncomfortable with you, then they can decide to not do business with you. (Just like the restaurants that post signs "We have the right to refuse service to anyone.") Just as you are picky about your provider, the provider can be just as picky about a customer.
3. Not knowing what specific questions you are asking or how you are asking them, it's difficult to determine how you might be perceived.

Thanks Gromit. I'll be specific.
I'm a fan of greek. There are many reviews that have that service listed as "don't know". I emailed an agency with a screening request and they got back to me within a couple of hours and said I was cleared based on my TER membership and my previous reviews. Btw, this agency does not list rates on their website.
I then asked to see one of their girls (who didn't have a review, but other of their girls do) and what were the rates for 2 hours and if she provided greek services. Since then, silence.
I think your second point is right. It doesn't mater what I think or whether it's fair or not, that's the nature of the biz.
I just feel like it's calling for pizza and having to say "I'm hungry" but if I say "I want a large pepperoni and cheese." they hang up.
Again, this is why I wanted to be pre-screened. So they'd know I was legit and then I could ask my questions without ringing the alarm bells.

Last time I checked, ordering a pizza no matter how vague or specific, did not expose yourself to the risk of getting arrested.  Either you ask other memebers on TER, wait for a review that specifically tells you what you want or TOFTT.  What eles can you do?  Based on my experience, asking any kind of specific questions are frowned upon for obvious reasons.  We could all do each other a favor by being very detailed in our review so there is no doubt what a provider does or dosen't do.

Don't expect an email response with details of services offered, even if you are prescreened. I don't think agencies would want to have documented evidence of illegal activities floating around.
All appointments with new providers are a risk (as far as meeting one's expectations) - even if they are reviewed. One may get less than what others have received. She may be less attractive than what you expected.

Greek is kind of time/size/quality of lover issue.  As one friend puts it, the trip to Greece is a very long trip and if the baggage is too large it just may not work out for a very small plane!
Funniest response EVER, the guy said that his baggage was made in Asia & very compact, hahahaha!

The other issues factor in as well. Best not to set your sights on it on a first meeting or else go to a streetwalker where you can offer a certain amount for a specific service.
