We are all very busy and get wrapped up in our own lives and we forget about the puzzle pieces that make our lives possible.. Freedom and Liberty are key.  The men and women of New Directions http://www.newdirectionsinc.org  are a few of those that protected our freedom and ensure that we get to exercise it today.  Please don’t lose sight of the important job our military personnel do and what happens to them once the uniform comes off.

New Directions is having the 2nd Annual Walk for Warriors. Walk for Warriors is a fun, festive, community-oriented 5K run/walk to take place on Memorial Day, May 28, 2012.

Proceeds from Walk for Warriors will help New Directions provide transitional services for returning veterans. By participating in Walk for Warriors, you will help support our nation’s veterans and the thousands of men and women who are currently serving our country.

If you know a veteran in the Los Angeles area who needs transitional services, please direct them to New Directions.  They are on the grounds of the Los Angeles VA.
