Props to TER Discussion Board Moderators

Just wanted to take a minute to publicly thank the moderator function for review approval.  In the past, I've had my disagreements with TER generally and the review approval process in particular.  However, I recently submitted a review that was not approved, but concurrently received a pm advising me of the deficiency in the review and why it was not approved.  The pm was not quite as clear as I needed, and so my initial attempt at a corrective edit didn't solve the problem.  But immediately after submitting the edited review, I got another message, with a more clear explanation, which elicited the correct edit, and voila, the review was posted.  I still think we in the community need more transparency from the moderator function, but I was very pleased with the immediate feedback, and I extend my "thumbs up" in hopes that this kind of courteous service be encouraged and cultivated.

I posted some reviews early in my career and one was denied. So I quit posting for awhile.

Then I had reason to post again and figured out what the moderators were talking about. Cost me a year of reviewing girls.

Thanks moderators, and sorry about boneheaded guys like me.

And TER very unceremoniously sacked all the old discussion board "moderators" who volunteered their time in favor of a revolving gaggle of anonymous corporate "hosts".

Well, RR02610, that is a good correction.  I didn't mean to imply that members of the community deserved this credit.  That said, though, I was pleasantly surprised that this "issue" was resolved so quickly, and when a job is well done it should be acknowledged.

I've had two reviews that were initially not approved and both times whoever it was on the other end of TER was very helpful, and both reviews were ultimately approved. I understand a lot of folks like to complain about the powers-that-be here, but I have always found them to be professional.

Can't say the same thing about some of those "volunteers" - especially on the GD board - who seemed to enjoy turning that place into a war zone. LA board was run well, but GD board ruined it for everyone else.
