When I check with the other hobbyist on the side, I seem to get a slightly different opinion. Another reason is to find out who those reviewers might suggest as a potential date. I always respond to PMs for that reason.

I've learned my lesson. Had a session with a new arrival to the LA scene with all 10/10. What a major  disappointment - only afterwards after reaching out to some other hobbyists did I learn the what they really thought. For various reasons often times the public reviews are embroidered - now I knew this before but after my recent episode my New Year's res is to backchannel much more often, especially with new arrivals who suddenly get all 10s. Learn from my mistake gents! All these newbies with all 10s should actually raise red flags imho... happy holidsays!!

Backchanneling is a must!  I don't see anybody new unless I have spoken to someone who has seen the lady.  It only makes sense.  I don't care how many reviews she has or how good they are.

Why don't the hobbyists put what they really think in the review to begin with.  Doesn't seem right to give all 10's if the provider doesn't deserve it.  Maybe some guys worry about hurting a lady's feelings should she read the public review, but I'm sure they can still give a flattering review without giving the highest ratings available and misleading the next hobbyist.

Because there have been times that ladies have blacklisted a gent because of a lower rating than expected.

Really? Now that is bs if a wg blacklists a client just because he didn't give her a high enough score, TER should have something in place to stop that from happening, surely.

Personally i'm happy with 7 or 8 for looks and from what i know 7 is still pretty, i'm no munter but i'm not a 10 either and i know it .

Although there have been days when i'm walking down the street, the sun is shining, i have a little spring in my step, my hair is bouncing around and all the guys are tripping over themselves to get to me and ask for my number, sigh.......then i wake up

I can't prove it and I don't know how to check but I think I'm listed. I gave a young lady a good/fair review of our time together. I think most would except that review. But within days I got a text from her on how that review could messed up her National ranking and she ask me if I get it pulled down. I tried, but it was a half ass try, not much effort was put into it. So I said "screw it, it is what it is"....the review still stands.

Aside from an ear bloodying scream-a-thon over the phone and texts threatening to out him to family, friends and job he'll be “black-listed” and made pariah within the ladies 'back-channels".  

  I'm now reticent to see any provider with more than two 10/10's on a given page of reviews. 5 or more consecutive 10/10's and I simply move-on; PERIOD

Yes I have now learned that's how some of these girls conjuring 10/10 operate. before the session is over, they basically imply that they "deserve" a 10/10 or that they only want 10/10 reviews written. All of this comes out when you backchannel. I would definitely be suspicious of new arrivals who get almost all 10s, even from established hobbyists. Like many here have stated, even these established hobbyists are pressured into massive grade inflation by such divas.  10/10s mean very little nowadays, especially for new arrivals who will charge a premium on the pretense that they are worth it. It also seems as though LA is much worse with this type of thing than other cities.

I had one provider insinuate that if I didn't give her a 10-10 that she would contact my Family. She didn't have the info to do that but it was uncomfortable ending to a shitty session. I didn't review her for fear of retribution. By the way, she has been a provider in LA for many years and she racks up the 10-10's. Since that incident, I stay away from the 10-10's and the ladies that only whitelist if the get a 10-10.

Re-brand, have some sycophant "tools" plant your first review(s). Manipulate, coerce, intimidate, and extort 10/10's from next 19 or 20 clients. Orchestrate a review moratorium after achieving twenty 10/10 reviews. Aggressively and ceaselessly petition TER to remove ANY substandard review from your history that slips through the "moratorium".

Hard to know who to blame Since TER put this TOP provider thing
some new Chicks are going  crazy to be I the number 1  hey is the Olympics!!

I guess it is good idea to stick to well reviewed ladies with many reviews rather than the sporadic 10, but at the same time is catch 22 because i wonder how is one to experience a good new provider when she does not have many reviews....as said stick to ladies with many reviews and miss new arrivals or gumble it and...well, take one for the team.

I have asked several guys in the past about a lady and for some reason they could not remember her, which pictures were her or how they finished lol  

I remember when ladies wanted to spend a few minutes talking, getting to know you once screening was done. Just to see if you two could get along and had similar expectation towards the date. It was a way to ignite the passion for the date.  You never had a bad date when you did that.  

But that is something you hardly see done anymore.  
If you type more than 140 characters to lady, you are considered to be a "needy" customer as one lady post on these boards.   Or you just don't talk to the lady herself anymore till you enter the room.  

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointments, I had several major disappointments this year as well  that made me ask why am I still here.  So hopefully 2014 will be better for the both of us!

bravo! well written. I know such girls, that's exactly how they operate. Beware of girls who come out swinging with a bunch of 10s and then slow down after they reach 10-15 reviews. Those who are really great will keep on racking them up, because they will get great word of mouth even when people backchannel. Also beware of those who say "i dont want any more reviews because...(bs reason)" or who somehow imply "I really only want 10/10"...all effing bullshat
