I heeded your advise, kept my phone in my pocket, and got lost in a big apartment complex. The booker called me to see where I was, and said I could have called him back, though he tries to not keep guys on the phone in order to be discreet, as you recommend. I finally got to where I needed to be. I was given a bottle of water midway through my time with the lady, and she was perplexed when I didn't take it with me out the door!  ;)

I picked up my hobbying schedule and saw three providers this week all k-girls.While entering our favorite watering holes. I noticed guys leaving with cell phones in hand and bottles of water.  I also noticed guys roaming the hall ways with cellphones looking for apartment numbers.  Let's not be so obvious. Remember we are  only visiting friends in these buildings.  WE ARE GUESTS. LE loves this kind of stuff.  At very least pretend you belong there.  There have been big busts all over the county on these types of  operations.
Here in LA we are very lucky to have what we have let's not blow it.  Just a word to the wise.

Last night that can only be the result of what you observed. However , you have to realize that not all those you observed
are part of the TER community, and if they are they have no excuse for such reckless , irresponsible behavior.

Why blame the guys if the girls are running an in & out let's service the whole city shop?  Maybe the kgirls are sloppy as well...

How many girls are in this one location? If an agency is "centralizing its resources" to such a degree, it might be in danger of turning the apartment complex into a brothel, or at least giving it the appearance of such. Fortunately, the police are probably so strapped that they don't bother with something like this unless a number of people complain; but even if all the men act like perfect customers, someone's bound to notice.

who loiter outside bldgs  , or unable  to read the numbers that direct them to the units, or checking their text messages because they can't remember the numbers , walking around dazed , looking confused , lost and sticking out like a sore thumb.  Let us not use the carelessness of the John to have a dig at the K-dolls.

As Muff stated this attracts attention, may get the management suspicious ( if they are not in on the game) but in itself no cause for arrest .

Do you mean the INS wouldn't be interested in a number of foreign woman engaged in a shady legal activity? Maybe the customers won't be arrested, but the girls can get thrown out of the country. It's happened before in other cases.

I don't think the busts are happening from guys roaming the halls and
looking for apartments. There's nothing to bust. A bust would be LE getting
in an apartment and busting the girl offering sex and actually taking money.
You can't bust someone for knocking on a door and being invited in by a
hot Asian or otherwise girl.
Yes we should be discreet but I don't think we have to worry about being
busted by LE that way.
And please if you want to warn us use your handle and not an alias.

You are right, you can't get busted for looking like you may be John, but the point is that it may draw unwanted suspicious attention.  With that said, I still believe the real issue is simply the number johns in and out of one unit, especially those that are shared by more than one girl.  But as I believe Harp said, I would guess the majority of the johns are not active on these boards anyway....

I would agree there is nothing wrong with having a cellphone out and talking on it.  Just make it look like you are talking to a co-worker or something and know where you are going...try not to look lost.

Agreed. People here are overly concerned with this issue because they aren't looking at it from an outsider's perspective. It looks suspicious to us because we know why that 40-year-old white guy keeps looking down at his cell phone every 3 seconds. He's waiting for the "go" signal. But to everyone else, he looks like every other moron walking around LA obsessed with his iPhone and texting like there's no tomorrow.

Just as a reminder to the new guys. The rules of approach and departure are:

1.) Stay in your car until u get the "go" signal.

2.) Memorize the door code and room number so u don't have to keep looking at your phone as u approach the entrance.

3.) Don't wander around the complex looking like a lost puppy. Read the directional signs pointing toward the apartment series numbers and walk in the appropriate direction with purpose.

4.) Don't knock immediately when u reach the door. If your host is skilled, the door will open as u arrive. If not, then knock very lightly and that should do the trick.

5.) Leave the water bottle in the room.

6.) When the fun is done, walk straight back to your car and get inside before u start texting the booker again to say what an amazing time u had!

Hmm, how about whispering "goodbye"? It would feel weird to leave without saying anything at all. I can understand you not wanting the guy to say, "I had a great time," or "I really liked that thing you did with your tongue."  But "goodbye" is off limits too?  :)

I always exit through a side door even if it means walking a bit further to my car. It reduces traffic in and out of the front door to the building.

The reason i brought this up is because I am a land lord on pretty good size building  here in LA. I get complaints all the time about high volume of traffic in and out of certain units. The complaints are always from the same busy body people who have nothing better to do. I tell therm there is no law against an active social life, and as long as they are not bothering anyone there is not much I can do. Just because you have a lot of friends does not make you a bad tenant. All I'm saying to everyone is use common sense and play it safe. People do pay attention.

So, little do these busy bodies know, the guy they are complaining to is a member of the club. Maybe if they were getting laid more often themselves, they wouldn't be so uptight about how often their neighbors are gettin' some!

Ha, yeah, that water bottle is a dead give-away.  One of the newer k-girls gave me one as I was leaving her play den last week and she was shocked when I politely refused it.  I explained to her why it's a huge "red flag," and she said she will change her delivery time.  Water bottle now comes out mid-way through or 5 min before departure so we can drink it there.  That's good progress I think!  :)

A monger might assume another guy walking out with a water bottle is a monger, but a civvy will not.  Plus the guy you think you've pegged as a monger might not be - others drink water too.  You can also stick you bottle in your pocket if you don't want to be pegged by another monger who's out there waiting - if you go out the main entrance.  It's not the big deal some make it out to be.

a nosey neighbor or landlord decides to start monitoring the hallways for suspicious activity.  At that point, if the busy body continually sees middle-aged guys walking out with the same small water bottle, one after the other, and each guy looks like he's just finished a rigorous workout, then people start putting two and two together.  IMO, it is always better to be a bit more cautious than necessary, just in case.
