I read your blog - once - loved it. Your style is witty, candid and provocative. The key there is once ??? I have nothing luring me back or reminding me, 'there's another blog post'. The few blogs I have read, I look at the history of posting - 1 per month, 1 every 3 months (not saying you) whatever it is, it's not very frequent. So, I don't go back.

For bloggers to be successful, they need to post fresh content daily, otherwise - why am going back?

Then there's the 'promotion' part of it... lots to do there. But promo is a waste without the foundation of daily posting with compelling content... whatever that may be.

Provocative writing with the hobby aspects thrown in, sexy photos, good 'bed-time- stories - all of that is a great start.

As to why I haven't been back, I simply have nothing to remind me. If there was an email reminder system I would've checked it out. (if you have one on the site, I didn't see it)

Also, find the top bloggers and look for what made them so popular.  .o2

I started a blog, but because of privacy concerns (which I totally understand) I don't get comments or feedback so I'm never sure how a post goes over.

Do you guys like girls to write them? I put time, thought and effort into it so I'd like to know that it's valuable.

What do you want to see on a blog? What would keep you coming back? Photos, opinion pieces, smut (yesss)?

I would love suggestions because I truly do love my new blog, but I want it to be something that is worth reading, not some place for me to just put words on a screen. Or, if you hate it and think it's a waste I'll take it down (majority rules).

Thanks in advance.

Nikki

Gives a lot of insight into the Provider's view of the Hobby, cities to avoid etc.

I like blogs, I even have one on another board. I like to read erotic stories and I like to share mine as well.
However the BIG question is... How do you get seen? I hate posting a message in a post that says I just updated my blog. Or sending out spam to read my blog. TO your point.. I think new content is essential for returning readers. What ever the content; Smut, politics, or news it must create interest. Old fashion porn had a plot and suspense, so do many erotic stories. Things that hit home, experiences that you experience that others may have had as well all if you create interest. I think may miss the value of their posts because there is no feed back and as such think it is futile. But if you can make someone smile or take action you can change the world at least your small corner!

Hi Nikki -

I'm reading your blog and enjoying it immensely.  All the things you mention that you like to post about are things that would keep me coming back.  Your own insights on your life, your work and us, your clients; dirty thoughts, poems, and stories...any of that works.  Pretty much anything that gives us insight into you outside of the "business relationship", as well as your honest insight into the business itself, both pro and con, would keep me coming back.  It's just fun to read about the hobby from the provider's perspective, especially if it's an honest, open look.  And it's also a turn on to get to know a provider from another angle...makes me want to see her/you more.  ;-)

I see you do post quite a bit... no time to read it now, but I will.

I did see the 'subscribe to this post' - not an email sign up - I will try that.

Interesting and insightful.  Something minor that's missing is the date.  The time is there and occasionally a "three days ago" that hints at chronology, but the date would be nice.  But, as I said, minor.
