405 Closure

First of all, this is my first post; I have been reading this board for a few weeks and I like it a lot.

Now my question is, Do you think that the closure of the 405 fwy on Jul 16-17 will have an serious impact on the "hobby action" in LA those days???.   As most of you angelinos know, thee 405 fwy will be shut down from the 101 to the 10, meaning that it will create a bunch of traffic problems.   People travelling from the SFV to the Westside and the LAX areas will be directly affected.  Just wondering....

At least people from out of town, providers and fellow hobbyists, should be aware of this.

I'm near Downtown LA off the 10 frwy...lol

Except for a couple of girls in Sherman Oaks who are accessable through  Sepulveda I can access all my providers in familiar K-girl enclaves without need to travel on Fwy from either my work or home.

I am sure it will effect others.

Since some of my fav k-girls work out of a place 6 blocks from my condo, I can walk!  Of course I will not venture outside the westside that weekend.......it's gonna be a ZOO

I'm taking those days off...and I can almost bet they won't be finished on the 17th, a project that major...doubtful.  I'm going to sit at home and watch all the hoopla happen on TV.

that wonderful mobile hobby service will have to park the bus.  LOL (there really was a hobby bus in South Beach that got busted- mobile P4P)

This 405 thing reminds me of the 96 Atlanta Olympics - where I lived at the time. For months they warned us of what the traffic would be like with an extra 200,000 visitors in town. My business was strung out all over the north end - photographers, writers and printers - so I was a bit concerned.

When the Olympics hit - NOTHING - in fact, getting around was even easier than before. So, did all that warning make people think and plan ??? who knows???

I heard there was a van in Vegas that advertised and delivered girls.  Never seen it or heard of it other than that one friend mentioning it one time.  I can't imagine that it lasted too long.

Regarding traffic, I don't believe it will be too much of an issue.  Last time the Olympics was in L.A. we prepared for the worst and traffic was supposed to be a nightmare of epic proportions.  It was very normal.  No big deal at all.

If I do feel the need to hobby that weekend, I have a few choices all near me on the Westside.

discussion about traffic??   For crying out loud, the San Diego Freeway is shutting down for just 53 hours.  Not 53 DAYS!  It's happening on the weekend, not during the week.  And it's happening in frickin' July when traffic is at its lowest.  This is a non-story.  Use Old Sepulveda, Beverly Glen, Laurel or Coldwater to get around it.  Better yet, stay home or leave town.  This is the lamest post I think I've ever read on TER.  No one gives a flying f**k!

We can have the olympics here, 53 different providers for 53 blowjobs and for the fortunate hobbyist he can call himself well beyond the decathalon X 5+, that is if your not a prune/raisan after this, but it would be total bliss!!
