I am an "oral arts" kinda guy. I had my wisdom teeth pulled on Wednesday the 5th and would hate to put anybody at risk for anything. How long should I wait to partake in those activities again? I Didn't feel comfortable asking the hot little  Dental Assistant. I figure a week at least but I would rather err on the side of caution.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this following link says 3/4 weeks to heal :-(

Wait at least two weeks for the stitches to come out and for the plugs to heal over.

It took about that long for mines to feel and look normal again.

That is what my hot little dental assistant told before I could "kiss girls again" ;

They will have a definitive answer.
I for one would most certainly wait for the following:

- be done with your antibiotics
- the swelling should be gone
- any stitched should be dissolved or removed
- all open wounds should be fully healed

That's my take but I think you should be up front with your doctor for a straight answer.
They know the risks better than us providers and hobbyists (unless any happen to be dental surgeons).

They were not impacted. There never was any swelling. The bleeding was minimal...maybe a day. The antibiotics are done by Wednesday evening. I was awake during the procedure (laughing gas) and I don't recall them stitching anything. Overall, very little pain, so on took one pain pill. I will go for a follow up next week. Damn, I am not use to being out of action for that long. I will ask the doc and relegate my hobbying accordingly. Shit, I would partake in FBSM but I fractured a rib a few weeks ago and that doc said no excersise, but walking. That didn't stop me, but it looks like this one might have to. I guess I will do what the oral surgeon tells me to. Shit!
