If you had HIV it would not have onset that quickly from my understanding. Chances are if it is HIV you had it for a while before this date you mention and the symptoms are showing.
More likely you are overreacting to a common bug. TER is not a doctor. If you are truly concerned get a blood text and throat swab.
Agree on the doctor. It will do no good to test for HIV now (need to wait a few months) so I would get other std tests and also non std assessment as Goldieknox suggests. Ask the doctor what else it could be!
I concur. Though anything is possible, it would be very unlikely if it is HIV that you contracted it so recently. It's an immunodeficiency virus so it works by breaking down your immune system which takes time, unless perhaps you have some other condition that has severely depressed your immune system (like an organ transplant, other illness...).

Why are you not getting regular std panels done when you're hobbying? Providers hold up their end and responsibly get tested frequently. Sooo why do you guys only start to worry about getting tested when symptoms start showing up? So typical!
Go do a HIV DNA PCR test. It's the earliest detection test available.
