YOUR PROVIDER GETS ARRESTEDconfused_smile

Ok forgive me for asking a question that probably has been answered.  Regarding the Senator's husband - who got busted.  Makes me wonder what can the cops could do with the girl's address book?  Also I wonder what they had on him to make him talk?  He sounds like a weasle SOB who caved under pressure.  Makes me wonder what would happen if one of my providers had a guy that got arrrested and did the samething.  Would the cops be able to make a case against the other johns?  If the cops were to pull a john over in a sting, is it possible just to stay quiet?  If his license was legit could he have just driven away by saying nothing?

As for the other questions you ask, it's pretty much up to LE.

It is very unusual for LE to make an arrest of a client based solely on your name appearing in a little black book.  Most laws require that you be caught in the act, so to speak.

If the provider decides to implicate you however, there could be cause for concern, but that is seldom the case.  (It will be interesting to see how Spitzer's legal woes work themselves out.  My guess is that the DA will quietly drop the case some months from now when all the brou-ha-ha has died down.)

As for getting pulled over, well, if LE hasn't got anything on you, then sure, why not let you drive away?  On the other hand, if your dick is in a policewoman's mouth while he's standing there.....

Dum, de dum dum.

(still not a lawyer)

If the only thing they have is your number in her book, that is not enough to arrest. She probably has her CPA, her dentist, her best friend, and a dozen other people's phone number.  The fact that it is in a seperate book doesn't add much to it. It could have been a call, returned, no meeting for 100 reasons.

If all they have is the provider's word, it is probably not enough to go to trial.  Almost all states require corroboration because she would be an accomplice to the act.  Corroboration must connect the defendant to the crime, not to the parties.  (e.g. see Calif Penal Code, Section 1111) Her having a phone number connects you to the party, but not to a crime.

If contacted because she talked or they have your number, silence is golden.

Stay silence and call a lawyer!

I do not keep any private information on my clients. I delete all information after I get a reference.

It not the client they want they want the arrest and in the D.A' s  wants a feather in her or his hat to show that they are cleaning the city.

Call a lawyer, under the penal code you have a right to remain silence and speaking to Po PO will only hurt your case in a court of law.

Either you will get probation or a dismissal for first offense. Class B offense.

Most the time if you run a clean biz LE let's some women go cause they look for street and Craigslist type of women.

TER board your safe. Your in good hands with TER and the providers here. Check with the local board members for question if in doubt.

Good Luck

As far as the address book goes. Most of us don't have one.
I know I don't.
If you do email a lady you should send it from an alias email address not the usual one your real name uses.

She will ask for your name, up front, check your refs and check your DL on site and delete the email right away. We don't keep evidence.

That is NOT smart.
email address books are password protected anyway.

If they did get her to talk and give it up and they probably would not since it is only a misdeameanor ticket. Getting busted for one crime is enough, a gal would not go and admit to 20 more. So she would not give up the passcode.

If by some chance you did give your real addy with your real name, and she did give up her secret password then you could always say.
I never met her!

It is not something to worry about.
Not really.
