Does this only happen in hotels or can they do it with provider who has incall in her apt?

If provider seems to screen according to reviews but didn't screen me, is that red flag?

I don't think LE can "use" a provider for a sting, especially in her incall.  If a well reviewed provider agrees to see you, go for it.  She obviously has criteria that you have met.  There are many ways to screen without being invasive.

This just means you as a hobbyist NEED to be using a hobby email and a hobby phone. If I can see too much info on a guy with very little effort I will gently remind him about discretion. I'm not going to put all my screening secrets on here, but it goes way beyond 2 provider references.  My first line of defense is to research and see if any escort would give you the time of day. My second line of defense is provider references to see if I personally would enjoy you. The hobby world is very political, worse then DC on a good day. Not all escorts are reference friendly. You have every right to research the escort before you see her. I'm on the other side of the fence so maybe a hobbyist can enlighten you on this.

They can even cut her a deal if she is busted in order to get her to comply. Now there are ways to screen with just a phone number and a first name especially if are not using a hobby phone and email address. Some ladies screen less if the really need the money. So it does not mean she has flipped but if your spider sense is tingling listen to it as it save you a lot of headaches in the long run. If things don't feel right listen to those feeling and bail. Always listen to the big head on such thing as the little one will get you into all kinds of trouble. Busts can and do happen anywhere.

I had a similar situation, out of state, when a well-reviewed provider answered her phone, did not screen (I even asked her if she wanted any screening info and she replied "honey, I just screened you and you passed with flying colors), quoted me a price and asked me to call her the next day to confirm the time.

Posted here, asked what people thought and was advised to go for it. I was still worried, but everything else seemed to be in keeping with reviews on her, and the reviews were very recent, within a couple of weeks, if not days. And she asked me to tell her what she should wear, and I knew from reviews and ads that she likes to dress up.

I continued with the contact the next day, went to the two call and it all turned out okay. So I asked her about screening and her reply was that she does a lot less screening with out of state phone numbers and my approach did not smell like LE anyway.

My advice is that if the reviews are very current, and you have an out of state phone, go for it. On the other hand, if there has been nothing for a month or so, and your phone is local, be concerned.

I'd think that on the day that the provider gets busted, LE would just hang around the incall and pick up the day's schuduled guys.  Then, it could go anywhere.  If she makes a deal, and she's well reviewed, and popular, that can be trouble.  LE then has her phone, and maybe even her website and email.  But like Ziggy pointed out there is only a small window of oportunity for LE, because the word will get out.  No reviews, or activity in a month could mean trouble.  In states where things are just misdemeanors, it's probably not happening much, because there is no incentive for a provider to turn.  But where there are bigger penalties, I can imagine so.  I think as time goes by, new and better ways of dealing with this bullshit will emerge.

It was not that he should not go. I will admit that the odds are that she has not flipped but screened him in some other way but one should always listen to ones spider sense and ere on the side of caution in the hobby. I have a friend who is facing jail time because she didn't listen to her spider sense. She felt something was off and went through with the date anyway.

I think the risk with a well reviewed provider is small, but the last line of defense is our gut feeling.  If he's uneasy with it, he should not go.  With his concerns, he'd probably not have a good time, anyway.

I don't see how.  Use a trac phone without a real name, and make the calls from a moving car. Do you see something I don't?

I see triangulation of the signal and then satellite imaging to get your license plate (or relay to traffic cameras to take digital photographs of your license plate).

Good God.  What, do they have the CIA in on these stings?  How about making the phone call on foot, inside a shopping mall?

they'll find the resources to get you.   Local police can just yell and scream to the Feds that they think you are a militia leader or a terrorist.  Then you are fucked, because all the anti-terror legislation kicks in and you're constitutional rights get suspended/revoked.  So in that sense, if you piss off the wrong people, the CIA (among others) WILL be in these stings.  

With regard to your question about shopping malls: there are security cameras EVERYWHERE!  That would be easier to get you than the moving car example you gave before.

I would have to agree with LB that deliberately trying to piss off LE will only cause you more grief.

I would suggest that you have just fun in the hobby.  Don't be sloppy with regards to leaving tracks and covering up your tracks.   Hobby quietly and if you ever run into a sting, smile brightly, claim your Miranda rights, and STFU!

Unlike a "real" provider, LE is not going to block off an hour of their time, nor are they going to spend another hour primping to get ready for your appointment.

When LE sets up stings they just schedule everyone that calls, then bust everyone who shows up.

BTW the CIA doesn't operate on US soil against it's own citizens, that is the FBI's job. Don't you watch TV? lol

Your last words of advice are spot on however, and there is nothing to be gained by pulling the tiger's tail, not that I think he was by any means serious in the first place.
