Which Cases are Being Tried ?

Folks,

I have been selected to be a jury ... again! I will be at the Superior Court in San Diego.  Is there a website, etc, to see where the prostitution cases are being tried there, so I could be a busybuddy, and attend some of those, if I found the free time in those days?

It will be awkward to go a counter there, and ask this question!

A while ago, a few posting [I think on the National side], included details of various trials, arraingments, etc, so I assume there is a website for these.

Thanks ...

most online court access systems I've browsed seem to require you to know either the case number, the defendant's name or the defendant's attorney and/or bar # to search the online systems.

Best bet is to call the court clerk's office and ask about the docket. They get these questions all the time--from journalists, students, bored retirees, researchers... Many courts have the dockets posted in the hallways, or if you only know which judges try the criminal cases, you hit their court rooms.

Realize that misdemeanor prostitution cases rarely go to full trial, you get the arraignment then most are dropped or settled with pleas. Many prosecutors waive jail penalty so often even the rare cases won't get a jury - just a turn in front of a judge.

i would have gone to trial if i did not live 3 thousand miles away,,,the DA refused to dismiss my case,,there was no evidence
i plead not guilty for as long as i could they thought a plea was jail time,,,mind you no prior anything,,i spent 10 thousand dollars wanted a trial in abstentia  but the judge said i have no choice but to plead guilty or else they would charge me with felony obtruction in addition plus personally take care of  me
