How can you tell if replies are written by attorneys.  Is there any way to do a search here for just posts from lawyers. I found someone called the Law Doctor. Any others?

Because of my tendency to sometimes sound like a lawyer, it was suggested to me to place a disclaimer on my posts, which I am happy to do.

I believe that Sidone is a lawyer, and he dispenses very sage advice on the occasions when he posts.  I am not sure of any others.

Unfortunately I am not sure that there is a filter to get only the posts of certain members.

if you want legal advice, get a reference.  Many county bar assns have referral organizations with free consults.  Most of the questions here relate to  criminal defense.

Or ask people for names of referrals.

If you really want legal advice, get your own attorney. She or she will know the law of your jurisdiction, and not some general guess. Furthermore, he or she will probably know about criminal defense. Being a lawyer doesn't mean one knows about the ins and outs of a misdemeanor defense.
