strippers are not hookers,
I have known plenty of dancers & many got tipped big bucks, & by merely meeting up later for dinner, drinks, hanging out or even wild sex on their own time does not make them a prostitute.

what they get tipped in the club is for entertainment only,  the exception (If someone made a clear aggreement of Sol)  A guy tipping cannot assume he will get Sex later if he tips well. no such thing.

many clubs have rules against employees meeting boyfriends ,spouses, clients on the premises. This rule is due to safety. they don't want jealous mates to intimidate customers & they don't encourage dancers to meet up with strangers

I danced at a strip club for a couple days (hehe) and when I first met the manager (who was also a dancer) she was rapidly going through all of their rules and such. And she mentioned "if you go home with a customer and they pay you do NOT do anything with them that night. If you do your thing with them the next day or afterwards it's not considered prostitution". Is this true?????? I actually do fbsm. So if I saw a client I wasnt sure of, and he paid me for a basic massage, the NEXT time we saw eachother and more happened it wouldnt be prostitution?? What do you guys think? Lawyers feel free to chime in too please :)

Ok, maybe a little offense was intended, but your manager is still an idiot. lol

Short answer, once you have agreed to accepting money for sex, or even the promise of sex, it is considered prostitution. When the sex occurs is completely irrelevent.

people like the manager at a strip club about your private life.  What she told you is is like what comes out of the north end of a south bound mule (we talk like that down here in jawja).

Really why would you want her to know anything about your private business, she probably babbles like a mountain brook.

I didn't tell her my private business I don't know where you got that assumption from.

Pay for Play is still prostitution.
If you went home with the client & did the deed, it would be directly tied to the strip club.  If it was LEO, you'd be busted & the club could be implicated.
If it was separated & with a LEO, perhaps the strip club would be more defensible in court.
LEO is unlikely to continue the relationship if you refuse initially.  (Though they could still lie & bust you anyway.)

Your manager is wrong.  Trading sex for money is prostitution regardless of the hoops you go through along the way.

If you accept money from a club patron for sex without the club's involvement then the club shouldn't be liable.  But if it LOOKS like the club was involved the club, its owners, and/or its managers could be charged with a crime.  Defending against the charges could be extremely expensive, even if they are ultimately vindicated.

I actually had the good fortune of dating a stripper. Occasionally she'd ask me to come see her at the club - but whenever I did we never left together because under state law justthe fact I was a paying patron at the club made our departing together enough to be arrested for prostitution.

By that same logic, if her brother in law, husband, roommate etc were patrons of the club and left together the same law would apply to them as well. I think you might be mistaken about the law.

That is totally untrue.  You and the stripper ahve a 1st Amendment right to freedom of association.  If that's all LE had no magistrate judge would consider that probable cause to issue a warrant.

Depending on where you strip this is the case in most jurisdictions most clubs will have you read a copy of local ordinances regarding the area where you work. Most clubs will tell you you can not leave with a patron even if it's your best friend to avoid being harassed by LE.Suspicion is enough to get you in trouble and some places a friction dance is considered a sex act.So know the laws in that area! If your manager is that dumb then I would not work there I have seen plenty of strip club busts and if a club makes a statement like hat then it is a matter of time be sure not to get caught up in their mess.

Ok that makes sense. Maybe that's what she meant. But I wasn't sure if she was referring to sex or dinner lol

Prostitution is prostitution if he pays you today and you guys decided to get down to business 3 days later it's all the same.  Sex for money no matter what day you have it on.

to prove unless both parties agreed and confessed.

What dude gives a random lady some $$$, then some day down the road hopes they S8X.

That would be like paying the petrol station so you could fill up your fuel tank next month.
Unrealistic.

The scenario of a boyfriend giving his lady some cash ,then later in the week you have quickie sex (so it is prostitution?)
