i'm a provider whom works out of her home.  the most i have had here in a day is four but that has not happend since it happend. lol.  other than that it's only about one or two.  two at the most which is also rare.
many times LE calls me but i screen so well they don't get a chance in hell with me.
my question is this...because i'm good at screening and they may be annoyed with me and are just looking for stuff to do...could me and my home be under any type of surveilance?
please, let me know what you all think.

and your email does not have your name stamped on it (send yourself an email to see), I don't see how LE can know where your house is.  If you use a regular cell phone as opposed to a prepaid one, then LE can get your name and address through the cell phone service if they want to put the effort into it.

If your neighbors are complaining, or LE has somehow traced your ads back to you at home, then you may very well be under surveillance, and find yourself in a situation where one of your clients gets stopped and questioned coming out of the house and throws you under the bus (see threads below).  IF that happens and they have probable cause, they can come in.  Here is where it gets a little tricky and you need to find a local attorney to advise you regarding your rights and responses should LE attempt to enter.  There are so many factors and issues involved, it would take a book-long post to cover them, and I would still miss something.

Bottom line will always be to keep your mouth shut until you can speak with an attorney, have an immediate plan for the kids if you have any (you do not want Youth Services to take them if you are arrested), and don't have any records of what you do (emails or client list).  Again, there is so much more involved when you use your own home for this that you want to sit down with a lawyer (you'll probably be able to barter the advice because, as a lawyer, he'll be a whore whereas you are just a provider).

(Relax lawyers, I am one too, and just joking)

Your lawyer will most likely tell you to stop using your home (there is a number of safety reasons for this also), because of the seizure laws and other issues.

Good luck

The ACLU put out a video a few years ago, I think it was called, "Busted, A guide to police encounters", something like that. It is amazing to me how easily people surrender their rights when encountered by police, but then again I only know what I know by watching this video on cable access TV of all places.

It's kinda a goofus and gallant type presentation with bad actors,so bad its funny. I am no fan of the ACLU but the video will give you some excellent info and when it comes to searches and seizures, the Supreme Court has ruled that your home is protected from all but the most reasonable searches and seizures. The Le will have to have a search warrant signed by a judge. Laws are different state by state though, but you should contact the ACLU and see if that video is available.

for several reasons.  The most important is your saftey from stalkers or worse.  Not letting LE know where you live is also a good idea.

The other big problem is suspicious and/or annoying activity that could get the neighbors to start complaining.

Here is how one smart provider took care of that.  She would arrange to meet the client in a large open parking lot nearby and have him ride to her house with her.  She had a garage that she would pull into and they would enter the house from the garage.  Thus, no stange cars parked out front with strange men talking on cell phones.

(still not a lawyer)

Even if you don't live there in call locations in residential areas are a bad idea. LE is one issue, the neighbors are another.  The only two times I have ever felt uncomfortable was while visiting providers in apartment complexes and private homes. Both operations were busted eventually.

Maybe its just me, I am certainly not saying that it is not a possibility, but how much nerve would it take to call the police on a neighbor that you think is providing. Unless the provider is making a huge amount of noise or something, whose buisness is it of anyone as to who a woman has over to her house. Any neighbor I have ever known would just ignore it.

Something tells me that anyone who would complain about a strange car or two in the driveway every once in a while isn't getting something, now what could that be????

I will say the home thing takes some nerve and some really good screening, some girls advertising in my area do that. I guess one good thing is that they are more comfortable in their own setting, which might add to experiance. Plus the chance of a ripoff is practically nil I would think, those folks probably prefer that their victim not know where they might discuss the ROB....lol

It's not about what is going on inside the house or apartment. Obviously I have no problem with the lady's occupation. It is about what is going on outside with the foot traffic of strange men coming and going. It's easy to say it wouldn't bother us until it happens.

If you were operating within two or three houses of mine, I can guarantee that I would notice.  I may not be exactly certain what you are doing, but I would notice.  Unless I knew you were working as a therapist or a similar at-home profession I would be suspicious.

I live in an area of single family homes with little traffic and few cars parked on the street.  In an area like this it is not IF it is WHEN.

If you instead have an apartment, think about how easy it is for someone to observe that there are different men visiting your apartment each day.  Do you have a separate entrance or is it along a hallway with 20 other apartments?  Do other apartments have windows that look out at your entrance?  Are there maintenance people around all day who will notice?

Of course the concerns over stalkers and other flakes are real regardless of how visible things are.

I agree if the guys are causing noticable problems then its a different issue.

I have elderly folks for neighbors, and they notice everything. One even commented on me coming home late when the wife was away on a trip.

Some of it depends on where you live. Suburbs where no one parks on the street, it is easy to spot a new car. City where everyone parks on the street gives some anonymity.

I think it is a bad idea to meet someone for a first date at your home. Privacy/safety would be my major concern.

Also, in my area, there are separate charges for prostitution, and keeping a house of prostitution. Double the trouble when you are caught. They may also be able to search your house during the bust.  If they bust you in a hotel room, simple prostitution is such a minor charge that I have not heard of them trying to get a search warrant for your house. Now, if you are a Madame (making appointments for other ladies), that is a different story.

Regarding e-mails: The IP address of your e-mail does give LE some information. They can get more info with a court order for your ISP to divulge the user of the IP address at the time the e-mail was sent.

Disclaimer: I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

No video but copy and paste this link to the ACLU and learn.

Also a link to a handy, printable wallet card which is MUCH better than MIRANDA.

I too run out of my home when local, which is most of the time..

IT is nerve racking as I am well aware of the risk involved.. Early, I made n00b mistakes with screening with a few 'bad' choices..
But hotel rooms really un-nerve me especially local.. Getting a room local to do incalls is a sure fire dead give away.. There really is no answer for that..

My neighborhood is 'older', most are not home during the day.. Very low traffic and LE sticks out like a sore thumb as there are few places to sit and watch anything..

I have no doubt neighbors have seen coming and going of different men.. But then they were use to it when I got here.. One neighbor is a teacher and during the summer months I bet those guys that visit her and back in the drive are a bit more than 'teaching associates'... Then there is the 'real estate' agent down the road.. I guess she keep her office at home also..

I think I am in good company..

My place does allow me to be more intimate and several of my regulars see me BECAUSE I am at my place and not an incall apartment or hotel..

My boudoir is set up to my liking for my styles of fun.. Loaded with all the things I love and adore.. From Liberator shapes, toys, sheets and throws to my favorite pleasure lotions and oils..
Things that just are not available at other places or while touring... They are all part of me and extensions of me in my professional and private life..
I miss my Zoe scepter when we are separated..

I was wondering about your screening method. What questions do you ask?

your neighbors could suspect something and turn you in. However, LE aren't getting annoyed if they can't see you. They move onto the next one on the list. If they're out to get you, you'll feel it as it's kinda' obvious... A guy I went to college with got busted for some kind of drug charges and anyone who hung out in the same dorm building felt the heat on that guy. It's up to you to stay aware at ALL times. I may be overly paranoid, but it's kept me safe.
