All of these disclaimers come under the category of "wishful thinking". Having a website or reviews is not what gets you busted. They have to catch you in the act. If they do all of the disclaimers in the world mean nothing.
If, by chance, LE is scanning the internet for escort sites or, for whatever reason, targeting a certain provider, the disclaimer is not going to make them stop and say "oh, this one is legit, let's leave her alone!" Again, wishful thinking.
that I am starting to see on more and more websites
"While I'm aware of my reviews, I have no personal/second-hand knowledge of what claims or information they contain."
I’ve posted on several occasions my opinion that the typical website disclaimers –“time spent is for companionship only” or “the donation is only for my time” – are effectively worthless in terms of preventing prosecution or providing a defense if in fact the lady is a working escort.
Some legal mind has concluded, however, that there is peril in simply reading reviews and has concluded that the best way to avoid this peril is to proclaim in effect “yeah I see all these reviews under my profile but I am careful not to read any of them.”
Leaving aside the fact that the profile itself pretty much tells the story, there is something in criminal law called the “willful blindness” doctrine which I think would make this kind of disclaimer worthless, even assuming it otherwise has some value.
I think all of the content on adult community boards is fictional since there are no dates times or names that would connect the content to real people. Even if a connection is made, those persons involved would have to admit to LE that they committed a crime or be caught in the act of committing a crime.
