Does LE post reviews?

Based on reading of this board, it is clear that sometimes LE does set up stings to catch hobbyists.  Though this is more of a threat for providers, they are keeping hobbyists on our toes as well, at least occasionally.

The strategy advised is to look for providers with lots of reviews, so that hobbyists can tell that they are well known in the community.  Has anyone ever seen LE post reviews for a decoy, however?  It seems like it would be a simple enough task (though somewhat time-consuming).

Secondly, as a legal question, would this create an entrapment problem for LE?  If they post reviews that are explicit (code worded or not doesn't matter), is there the problem that the idea to pursue the activity may have originated with LE?  This is the standard (in this state anyway) for entrapment.  They can provide the opportunity to commit criminal activity, but the initiative still needs  to come from the accused.

This is somewhat of a moot point, because as has been pointed out eloquently on the board, LE will do what they need to do to get the job done (stupid job, but they believe in it).  But to make sure they get convictions (and therefore, the money the state gets in fines), they might be cautious not to overstep the bounds of entrapment TOO blatantly.

Thoughts?

The case with the Bigdoggie shows evidence that they post reviews.  Bigdoggie got into trouble when they removed the reviews once they knew they came from police officers.  It is a crime to disrupt a criminal investigation.  It is also unethical to tell people how to avoid a police arrest, which is why that topic never gets covered here despite the inquiries.

I saw something I liked - but it's a new girl, reviewed for the first time in January, and a new agency, posting for the first time in December.  I traded simple emails with the agency which seemed OK.  I sent private messages to the only four reviewers of this agency, and they all vouched. Now there is a second review of this person, but still, due to the newness of this person & agency, as well as some mild inconsistencies, I am suspicious.  Am I being paranoid, or would LE go to THESE lengths???

sounds like paranoia to me.

It all makes a good case for providers as well as hobbyists to take care of their regulars/favorites

i am curious...

in the last month i have received 2 false reviews...  all good have you... and though i hated to lose the 'score'..  i have alerted TER of this and they do pull the reviews... this is what i dont understand...

some have extensive reviews... 10 - 15 or more...

so why would they be posting falsies?... or are they all falsies?..

i for one dont want to be any help if this is LE establishing a 'reputation'...

and are the other girls alerting Staff about this?
