makes a too much sense.  If any of these people really cared about the women...   If women chose to enter the (the world's oldest) profession...  but also & perhaps more importantly, if they choose to leave the profession behind.  I think we have no idea the extent that there are former sex workers among us.    
But IF a lady chooses to leave the profession... and say she was caught once...  should that conviction follow her for the rest of her life & undermine her attempts at good employment in her future & to provide for her children.   Instead, her record ensures she'll not get security clearances, promotions or employment of responsibility.
