I use agencies about 1/3 of the time. Since I get to know the person at the agency, who handles the phone, I tell them my real name. Is there a smarter way to do this or am I being paranoid?

I tend to use my real name with the providers too. Suggestions?

Note: I use RS2K or P411 98% of time. Never CL etc

Your real name is perfectly fine.  In fact, they need it to verify you.  At meet and greet parties, I use my TER handle, and only tell people my real name if they straight-out ask me.  When scheduling appointments (with RS2K-listed and well-reviewed providers only), I use my real name.

Why would you lie?She's probably going to check your number through whois anyways and then be upset when she found out you lied.Lying means you have something to hide.Like maybe your on a sex offenders database.there is a reason we screen our calls.Don't give us fake info.We will know and not b too happy about it.
