Thanks for the responses. Feel more at ease now. I assumed that I would be fine since I only was set-up to meet but wanted to get some opinions.

For those who don't know, MiamiCompanions was just busted recently.

My question is regarding client information and legal action. I used to be a regular client a couple years back but stopped using them and had them delete all of my info. I recently scheduled an appt and used P411 to verify and gave them a prepaid #. They do have my work number though. I did inquire through email regarding a certain skill set for the companion but that was it. I'm wondering if I should be worried since I haven't had any recent appts but assuming the Feds have work number and that email.

Should I be worried for any legal action?

Thanks

Having lived thru the DD bust in Phoenix, I would tell you best case scenario no, worse case scenario yes. In the Phoenix situation, the agency KEPT records, and all client names were eventually made public.  You might want to set up a google alert using the agency name, to keep up with the situation. Good luck

seriously doubt it. If you're a major celebrity or a politician, then, yeah, your name might appear in the paper and they might investigate but for most individuals, it's unlikely the police are going to spend the time and money to investigate the clients. There are too many legal issues involved and "probable cause" would be hard to prove - escorting is legal. It's sex for money that escorts engage in that is not. They would first have to have evidence that a particular person engaged in an illegal activity before they'd have probable cause to investigate further. Just because a person's name appears on a client list of an escort agency doesn't mean they engaged in illegal activity and if that's used for "probable cause" it would fail on Constitutional grounds. I can also tell you that my name has appeared on multiple agencies' client lists, and when those agencies were busted, I never heard anything from LE. I never used miamicompanions but I'm sure my name appears on their client lists because I've talked to them several times and got myself "verified" so that I could book with them if the opportunity arose. I'm not worried.

an article states an IT company held the password protected database, which included: place of employment, contact information, sexual preferences along with provider travel information.

So I guess in other words that since these are the Feds going after MC and not local or state LE, like in the DD thing in Arizona,  this is probably more about tax evasion and money laundering than prosecuting interstate prostitution activity under the guise of an escort agency?
Here's hoping that if those arrested are indicted, they just plea out and get the whole thing over with without dragging providers and clients into it.

Didn't know they got busted. I almost booked a girl through them, it did not work out cause they wanted too much info ...felt sorry at the time to pass up on a good lay on for not to much $$$ but all this drama, damn
