I've linked an article that I came across today.  Besides the regional problems discussed in the below post, here's another regional problem people should be aware of.

the good news is that they wont risk you testifying and accurately describing the officer's weiner on the public court record.
the bad news is that the police will continue to call you and threaten to file more charges against you to scare you into pleading guilty.
just make a record of all contact, pretend to be very scared of their massive power,  and when you show up for your hearing, plead NOT guilty.

touring girls will be held on bond so make sure you have someone's phone # MEMORIZED before meeting any guys. .. the more desperate you are the more cooperative you are so they dont let you get phone#s out of your cell phone.  yeah i know they have to if you tell them that your attorney's phone # is in there but i'm telling you that they won't.

what they can do and what they can't do is irrelevant unless you have a p*ssy cam, they'll lie.

Let's just say it's not the friendliest place to hobby. Vice there is beyond unethical. I have heard multiple stories of them getting a minimum of a bj. The only plus side is they sting so much they give you a citation rather then taking you straight to the big house.

So they're bringing federal charges against girls who cross state lines?  That's a pretty big issue for those of us that travel.  I guess I have been naive in thinking that I would avoid federal charges as long as I am not taking anyone else across state lines (so that the Mann Act wouldn't apply to me)....  What an amazing waste of government resources.
