One mature provider has that "program"

She has a full-time job, so providing is "icing".

Her requirement: three hour date (for a reasonable $300), first
two hours spent at dinner.

Presumably, she is confident that her "female antennae" will
pick out LE.  Also, she knows what NOT to say.  Further, what cop is going to
want to spend two hours having the table turned on him and be in the "hot seat" undergoing
extensive cross-examination?

Many guys would not want to invest three hours for a "quick
fix" and providers without another source of income would
not feel they could require such a three hour date.  However, for ladies
with another source of income, this might provide an extra level of
screening.

Seems most escort sites elude to this type of arrangement, apparently because it's legal.  I'm not sure many dates unfold like this.  I know mine don't, but here ya go: You make arrangements to meet your provider at a nice restaurant.  You even bring her a gift.  You order dinner, and drinks, and have a nice conversation.  You invite her back to your hotel, or she invites you to hers.  What's the big deal?  I would think even a LE impostor would have a hard time with this situation.  But that's why I'm asking.

Until you pay her...

And please don't kid yourself into thinking that the envelope full of cash you are giving her is really a "gift".

Until you fuck her...

And please don't kid yourself into thinking that the dinner and the date and gift of cash makes it a personal relationship between two consenting adults.

The liklihood that any LE sting is going to go down that way is about as nil as you can get.

LE just isn't set up to do busts at a restaurant.

(still not a lawyer)

But sadly, P4P is against the law.  As soon as you associate money and sex, you risk arrest.  An enthusiastic LE will arrest you and take their chances that it sticks and you eventually plead it out.  If it goes to court, you're gonna have to somehow prove that you didn't give a large sum of money with expectation of a romp in the sack.  Despite common beliefs, you are guilty until proven innocent in these circumstances in the eyes of a jury.  If it sounds like a duck, it probably is, and that's the challenge you would have.

I understand the association of money and sex being a problem, but what if the gift was a gift wrapped box that had a bracelet along with payment for accompaniment.  I always thought that the beauty of the escort was that you are paying for her company, and then what happens afterward between two consenting adults is the non paid for "possibility".  Why is this point even mentioned on escort sites if there is no insulation provided by the strategy?

Just to be blunt, you have a better chance winning the lottery than you do in using word trickery to fool LE or a jury that the "gift" you gave some advertised escort was not for sex.  It just ain't happening.  As for the text on ads you reference, it's just that, words... it doesn't matter.  What matters is whether a dozen male/female members of your community are going to believe your defense.  "I gave this ton of money to her because.... and the pussy was free.... good luck with that one.  Bill Clinton tried a similar word game and he got impeached.

I think that slowly but surely, people are realizing that this whole thing is based on the principle that it's just fine for the powerful elite to violate an individual's civil liberties.   I predict that at some point it will all coming crashing down around the politicians and LE.  It happened with abortion, gay rights, and now with pot and then soon after it will be all drugs.  You can't legislate adult consentual behavior forever.  This is all on a continuum of individual privacy, and choice.  The puritanical ways of the past will come to a head, and then break away to a more sensible enlightened view.  Call me an optimist.
