Someone got back to me with a fully clothed pic, and we are working out details to meet in a public place. Nothing specific will be said by email or phone. It does not seem like a setup but you never know. Can I be busted just for meeting and talking first? Would LE go to these lengths? If we do meet how should I proceed into more specifics?

If nothing specific was requested then you are safe to meet, but still play safe. If I were you, I would arrive at the agreed upon public place an hour ahead and and do some recon and check for any police cars or unsual activity. Lie about the dress you will wear (eg color, design etc) and just observe. But one cardinal rule is to follow your instincts. If you sense something wrong just back off.

It's too time consuming for LE to respond to every m4w ad since 95% are looky loos anyway.

They will generally just post their own sting ad and let the dummies stand in line to get busted.

But that doesn't mean you can call me for bail $$.

Not judging, but truly curious.

I posted the same type of ad and was set up by undercover cops. met at a local restaurant and inevitably you will talk about the act. She brought it all up and was wearing a wire.

As I was walking to my car to follow her I was busted. Took alot of time effort and $$$ to get out of it.

What's up with that particular website anyway?  It seems to be in the news media more and more in a bad way--people responding to sales ads and such, then getting robbed at gunpoint, and various other bad occurrences.  Anyway, my advice is to cross check any ASP you see on CL or even other websites against a website like TER.
