I am heading to a part of the country where I can not track down a companion with reviews.  I have however found a provider that I am interested in and am considering having her meet at the place I will be staying.  I typically only see well reviewed gals in major cities.  

If I go through with the meeting how do I best protect myself from LE.  Or is that a big concern in an outcall scenario?  I am not keen on getting ripped off, and see that as a concern, but it would not be so life altering.  What is the best way to meet and be protected from L.E?  thx in advance.

There are no guarantees but LE stings tend to be short bursts of advertising...    
LE does not generally like outcalls as THEY do not control the environment.  
there are other review boards which can't be mentioned here.  
Use Google to check the phone number.  
Use a image tracking service to see if the pictures show up elsewhere.

It may be possible to ask her if she has any friends who are providers who do have reviews.  You could then contact them and ask about her to make sure she's legit.

It seems like most of the providers I have met have a substantial number of other provider friends, often from all over the place.

The downside is it may put her off to have to provide more information, but probably not put off enough to cancel (though since I am not a provider or a woman perhaps I am wrong about that!)

It does seem like LE more favors stings where they lure a bunch of guys to one location though.  Much easier for them.

You have to understand that seeing a person without reviews or any other kind of reference is intrinsically unsafe, but on the other hand the law of averages is usually what keeps us safe.

Thanks everyone for the advise.  Asking if she has friends that are in the business is a good idea...if a reviewed provider vouched for her that would go a long way.  As for the references, I am sure it would not be hard for LE to cook up a reference or 10.   Thanks.

I was just going through ERos and searching here on TER for the providers listed there.. I was amazed at the number that had no reviews... a number did.. but still...

have posted there for years without being yanked.  For instance, there is a group of listings in one town that I am aware of that all are the same scammer who eventually takes your money for nothing in return, and that scammer is periodically discussed on TER boards but the related Eros ads just continue rolling along. The best thing that can be said about Eros is that it is not Backpage.
