If an email was sent to a provider asking “ are you in town on Tuesday at 3pm” is that grounds to issue a warrant ? if she has turned her account over to LE

IF that is ALL you asked, it has no implications of a solicitation.

I STILL question whether or not LE can get a warrant charging someone with a midemeanor based solely on emails as it is impossible to prove that anyone in particular wrote the email. Ok, it came from my account, so what?  I let friends use my computer all the time to surf TER.  They have to prove you DID not that someone else did NOT - now thats in a perfect world.

This does bring up the point again that you NEVER talk details with a provider in email or on the phone.  'I want to see you for an hour on Tuesday at xPM.'

Just my opinions

I think it may depend on what jurisdiction you are in, but as a rule they would have to first prove you sent the E-male, and it would have to implicate you in requesting something illegal.  (i.e. sexual service in exchange for something of value).

Just meeting someone or paying someone to accompany you for an evening would not be a crime.

It ALWAYS depends on what jurisdiction you are in.  Also, imho that IS enough for a search warrant(at least to search your computer).  Keep in mind that the standard here is probable cause, not beyond a reasonable doubt.  We have a provider who is presumably coopersting with LE because she gave them her account used in her business.  Is the fact of the email enough to convict? No.  Arrest?  probably not, BUT it is surely enough PC to obtain a search warrant to seize your computer.

All that having been said, it is extremely unlikely to happen because of the unlikliehod of discovering any further evidence on your computer.

So, in the academic sense, yes this is enough.  As a practical matter, a waste of time.

First I never mention sex in my emails. and never a donation especially in the same email. If you always imagine that the provider is a potential Civi date, never say anything a gentleman would not say no problem!

So the most they have is two people making an appointment. In fact I have been invited to see "my friends" off the clock for purely social reasons.

Both providers and Hobbyists should delete old email on a regular basis.
