I was thinking of getting a po box and putting it on my license, so when arrested, they can just mail summons there. But somebody said that cops want street address, so would UPS box be good for that?

Seem like a good deal to have some peace of mind for couple hundred

When you use mailbox services at The UPS Store, you get convenience, professionalism and other services to help run your business (or your personal life) more efficiently.

Here's what you get:

   * A real street address, not a P.O. Box
     A street address can provide a professional image for your business.
   * Secure mail with 24-hour access*
     Pick up your mail when it’s convenient for you. Your mail and packages stay-safe and confidential.
   * Package notification
     We’ll let you know when your packages arrive.
   * Full-service mail and package receiving
     We accept packages from all carriers, so you’ll never miss a delivery.
   * Mail holding and forwarding**
     We’ll hold your packages in a secure location for pick-up at your convenience or forward them to you, wherever you are.
   * Call-in MailCheck®
     Save time. Save a trip. Call us to find out if you have mail.

What does my mailing address look like?

Your mailing address will be the address of The UPS Store location, with either PMB (private mailbox) or the pound symbol (#) designating your individual box. Instead of “The UPS Store,” your name appears first.

Example:
Joe Smith
PMB XXX or # XXX
12345 Somewhere Street
Some City, Some State Some ZIP

Dude, you answered your own question...

No mailing address will keep you from going downtown in the first place however. Again, maybe you should spend more time researching good providers instead of ways of keeping it a secret when you get caught.

until he manages to turn a minor misdemeanor(that hasn't even happened yet) into several major charges, including obstruction, various conspiracy charges and who knows what else before he is done.

It appears that he is planning on getting arrested, providing a fake ID and then failing to appear and hoping that LE won't be able to identify or locate him. Of course he also doesn't realize that using a mail receiving service for fraudulent purposes is a crime in itself, a crime that incidently is also more serious than the simple solicitation charge that he seems so desperate to avoid.

Either that or he is an LE troll jerking our collective chains in an effort to accomplish who knows what.

Check out his posts ... fake I.D., looking for providers who don't screen, and now how to provide a false address and hide his identity. If it smells like LE, it just may be ... and I agree with the above ... there's some trolling going on here.

I'd rather pick them up elsewhere, cause of family situation

And P.O. Box and UPS Store boxes are not the same, so my question is still open

Thank you guys

I think you should change to Elmer Fudd. First the fake ID and now a fake address. You'll be getting plenty of dates in the county lock-up. My suggestion is if you are this parnoid find another hobby.

A PO Box in my state can't be used as a driving license. It must be your legal residence.

The fraudelent use of any mail receiving service, that includes UPS boxes is a seperate crime all on its own. You just keep compounding the charges and you'll never get out of jail.

All mail receiving services also require valid ID, and attempting to defraud them is also another crime while you are adding to your list of stupid crimes.

UPS and Mail Boxes Etc were both commonly used by people commiting mail fraud and other crimes using the mail. They are quite accustomed to dealing with the likes of you.

I don't normally feed trolls, but I found myself a little bored this evening. Do yourself a favor and put your efforts into not getting arrested in the first place instead of this mental masturbation of how to avoid going to court after getting busted. I have been hobbying for decades, I have seen over a thousand providers in the thirty something years I have been doing this. I have never been arrested, not once.

You know, I started drafting a response to your previous question but decided it wouldn't be worth it.  Most people had effectively told you not to try using a fake ID, so I thought you'd drop the whole attempt to dupe a provider and/or the police.  Well, obviously you didn't give up looking for information so here goes:

You seem determined to turn this from potentially not even being charged with anything into prostitution, obstruction, impersonation, and/or forgery charges (all from your previous post).  Now with this post there is the potential for other charges that I don’t even want to bother discussing.  Besides that, giving false information generally pisses off police officers (who likes to be lied to, seriously?).  They will be able to call you on it right away, so they will be sure to arrest and thoroughly search you and the immediate area around you, plus your car if you recently occupied it (yes, they can do that).

For the record I thought from your previous post that you are either overly paranoid, have something to hide from providers who screen (e.g. a criminal record), or want to target a provider as the victim of a crime.  Now you are doing more planning to further your little scheme.  I think you should just not even try all this crap-you will get caught (which you seem to acknowledge since you say “when arrested,” not “if arrested”) and you’d be lucky to find a judge who lets you off without doing time.

its quite obvious from your posts on several boards that you are obviously not too bright, just trying to get a rise out of people, an idiot, or LE (which actually would include all of the attributes)

I thought of this and asked a cop buddy

if you don't want the cops to really know where you live, talk your family into allowing you part time residence there and then get the liscense. You can always say that you either forgot to change it or you still live there on and off
