Maxine Doogan has been to LA twice in the last couple months.  She is a true die hard politician.  She just spoke at the Ca Legislator again, this time as an invited speaker.  She is on the college circuit, in the media, and has ties across the United States.  She helped change the laws in Ca that excluded sex workers from access to victims help.  

Both Maxine and I have lists of how and where the laws in Ca target sex workers to exclude, oppress, and take away rights.  

Maxine ROCKS.  She always needs funding help at the non profit formed for the purpose to fund the Federal Case in the 9th Cir claiming to decriminalize prostitution laws in Cal.  
To do so would mean that silly laws would fall shot.  Laws like the one that makes it a crime to be in a bikini in your own home in the summer in the SFV if someone on the street sees you and is offended.  No yard sales with a bikini top.  If so you risk criminal penalty.  Wtf.  Silly laws.  Just silly.

Maxine is awesome.  She has been my mentor for years.  She has helped our community organize in CA, Alaska and the east coast too.
