Craigslist Therapeutic ads & entrapment?

This has happened to me twice.

I responded to a therapuetic massage ad where the lady said she is an LMT. During the course of the massage the therapist touched my boys thru the drape and said "oops" and asked are you OK with that.

In another situation I was getting a bikini shave, which is very erotic and i got a hard on. The lady asked me do you need help with that.

I the massage therapist asked by for a "tip" for a HJ, but my guess is we were in safe territory now. The lady giving me a bikini shave did not mention money and I just left her a tip. Now I get a HJ every time I see her.

My Questions are:
1. If one gets busted responding to a therapeutic ad is it entrapment?
2. Would LE go to such lengths to do it?
3. Once the lady takes the initiative how safe is it do ahead?

what is invovled in a bikini shave for a man?  Sounds like it could be fun to get, but who/where do you get such a service.

They shave your pubic area and your butt area. I would suggest that you do a search in your local craigslist for bikini waxing or bikini shaving.

If were in the chicago area, I would have given you the names of providers who do that. Look like you are in Wash, DC....no idea about that area.

Well, you might want to read the thread just below on what entrapment is...based on that, I doubt very seriously that LE is going to do a sting ad offering waxing or non-erotic massage because, in my opinion, there is no violation of law involved in these services (waxing or legit massage or even holistic services involving certain types of tantric massage)....lots depends if the person placing the ad has a license, which, in California, you must have for waxing or massage (through the Dept. of Consumer Services--very specific requirements)...plus LE doesn't have the resources to do this type of sting because the service they would be advertising would be legit and would bring them closer to entrapping a customer and there wouldn't be much bang for the buck (excuse the pun)...add to this the fact that no female LE is going to be doing this on her own (too dangerous without male LE backup)and, even if she did there would be no way she would be touching "the boys" or engaging in "happy endings" prior to arresting you.... I think that you are on safe ground.

Most of what I've read about amp busts do not involve LE setting them up as a sting. This doesn't mean it can't happen but it's an awful lot of work to go through. Most of the time if LE raids an amp they arrest the girls who are almost always illegal, unlicensed or both and tell the customers to zip up and go home. Unless they catch you in the act all you are guilty of is receiving an illegal massage.

Hey, it's Craig's List....anything can happen nowadays...

Is it the client's responsibility to check the licensing status of the spa and therapist?

Well, I don't know that it is a legal requirement to do so, but most massage therapists will have their credentials posted on the wall; in fact, many massage parlors in California work under a conditional use permit (CUP) issued by the city in which they are located. Some of the conditions under which the license is granted may include the posting of individual licenses on the wall, no closed doors in the individual massage rooms (which is why you see curtains in many places), info sheets which are filled out by the clients (some of which require photocopies of driver licenses); it all depends upon the city, but the requirements are designed to make it more difficult to engage in illegal activities.

In CHicago I have never had to give my drivers license info or fill up forms. Most massage parlors are in public strip malls and massage rooms have doors not curtains. Thank God.

My point was that, unless you are caught in the act of receiving a sexual favor, you can't get arrested.
