I always assumed they were not.  What do people know about this?  Someone said they have licenses like strip clubs have and as long as they have a license, they're okay.  Has anyone hear of PVs getting busted?  If so, where?  I think they're great and stopped going a year ago because I was getting worried about LE.  Thanks.

Only think maybe private video or porn video like some have tried and then busted.

its prostitution in virtually every State except CA - due to the Freeman case years ago. Have to follow  very strict rules (member actors guild, recognized studio and person having sex only paid by studio not anyone individual that is participating

Strip clubs are regulated by state & local laws...  which vary.  Yes, VIP areas get raided pretty regularly in Providence, RI.  There's rules about how much contact, if any, is allowed & how much clothing must (supposedly) stay in place.  Even if tops aren't completely off, I expect them to be "falling out of them", etc  A lot of the private Dancers try to rub through your clothes to get you off without taking it off.  Certain laws changed recently and VIP booths lost their curtains.   Frankly, I stopped because it cost way more than a provider & with a provider you should get satisfied.
A lot of strippers are also providers...  the goal is to get a guy to take them to a hotel/motel after they get off...  for extra cost of course.  Which isn't legal either.

PV means Private Viewing and not at a strip club.  Where I live, in Virginia, there are places that are set up in apartments.  You select a girl off their website, call up and arrange a time.  You go to the apartment and she does a striptease for you in a room by yourselves.  Extras are just that, extra and YMMV.  They all finish with a hand release.  I saw on another discussion board that these places are licensed and legit.  I was just trying to get more input.  I'm sure if LE walks in and you and she are naked, there will be trouble.  But I'm just wondering if the whole PV thing is not very high on the LE agenda since escorts and prostitutes are lower hanging fruit.

NOTHING that ends with a hand job is legit.

As for priority, well, it depends on how low the fruit is hanging.  In most cities streetwalkers are at the top of the hit list and private escorts who operate discretely are pretty safe.  The line gets a little fuzzy once advertising and foot traffic come into play.  Some cities have cracked down on BP based providers and ANY operation that generates a lot of foot traffic to a private residence is going to attract attention at some point.
