According to the article it was the IRS who did the raid.  If that is the case then they are just after their money.  Normally the IRS doesn't give a shit how you make the money as long as you pay taxes on it.

I can't imagine them going after mongers or working girls.

Escorts.com records are now in the possession of the Feds.  I have never posted a review, but paid for a subscription to the site with a credit card which I assume could be used to track me down and violate my confidentiality, if they contacted my wife.  Do the Feds have the ability/interest in doing so?  I don't think the act of subscribing is a misdemeanor, but in a political year, anything goes.

Any thoughts from knowledgeable respondents?  Thanks.

Yes they will have ALL of your info, possibly any of the net browsing history they might have kept on you and more..

now what they will do with it, is unknown, in the past they have published it on the net, leaked it to the media and such.

What is the old saying? don't do the crime if you can't do the time!

There are times that local LE will harrass people by calling the phone numbers that they get when they bust an agency, but I don't see the feds doing that.

Of course, as you say, anything goes in an election year, and that's next Tuesday, Gotte se danke.

There's no way to make any charges stick however.  It would just be harrassment.

(still not a lawyer)

I checked escorts.com and see it's still up & active.
