Is it illegal to trade good for sex?  It should be no different than bartering...

Maybe trade a piece of electronics for a seasion with a provider?

What do you think?

Hock your iPod and DVD player and use cash.

Either way, it's still illegal.

Of course it's illegal.  We often call prostitution "sex for money", but what's illegal is really sex for compensation.  Barter is no different from payment in this context.

She will cook and clean and raise the kids and I'll go out and work and make money and pay the bills for everything she needs.....

Oops, better not go there.

Women do this for money, not Ipods. You can't give the landlord, the grocery store or the bank that holds your car loan a wide screen TV when the payment is due.

an 'at-will' clause, otherwise known as the "not tonight or maybe ever, I have a headache or something; and oh, forget the fun stuff"

It's all the way the exchange takes place...

You can pay in installments, or you can pay after the divorce - but either way you are going to pay!
