Is it illegal to trade good for sex?  It should be no different than bartering...

Maybe trade a piece of electronics for a seasion with a provider?

Of course it's illegal.  We often call prostitution "sex for money", but what's illegal is really sex for compensation.  Barter is no different from payment in this context.
