Okay, I noticed that there was a harsh bill that makes felonies out of most hobbiest/providers.  Some of it maybe unconstitutional or illogical.  I also noticed these bill were pushed by CAASE and Polaris Project.  Looking at their websites, they have charity events to fund their projects.

How hard would be to get out of state women who are escorts go to these things and get the word out about their chosen way of life?  Not every provider is forced into this career choice.  People need to know.  I'm sure local reporters would be interested in seeing this confrontation.

I'm sure if we setup a fund, we could recruit people.  Maybe even invite foreign women in countries where prostitution is legal to talk at this event to open people's eyes.

In sexually repressed USA, they are going to enforce their morals on us by what ever means.

who has been taught from birth that the their own body is somehow "bad" and that sex is evil, try telling them that prostitution is an enjoyable and rewarding career choice. You won't get far. As far as the feminist thing goes, it's funny how feminists are split on this, some feminists actually think prostitution is the highest form of feminism. Check out Dr. Annie Sprinkle. These feminists seem to be in the minority, unfortunately. Feminism informed by sexual pessimism equals the kind of totalitarian legislation being proposed in Illinois right now. Hedonists beware.

This is a huge issue in my local area right now. I'm just across the river from Illinios. Close enough to have it effect myself and some of my co-workers. I have been on my legalize soapbox, more times then I can count. I'm sure these feminazis took a trip to E St Louis Illinios, where it's very laden with pimps and all that entails as part of their research for this bill.

Yes there are a small percentage of women victimized, but what about the rest of us?

I like many indys have no criminal record, have never touched a drug in my life, and (shock) love my chosen career path.

Legalization would help the small percentage of woman who are victimized. I would gladly work in a legal brothel
