Let's face it, all over the country today people will be consenting to have sex together. Some will be total strangers, some will be married people cheating on their spouse, some will be politicians ruining their careers. But none of it is illegal! But OMG don't let any of those people exchange money!! That would be imorral and illegal! What a dumbass system!! Most of the LE and judges that providers and clients go before, have done the exact same thing, they just got it for free!!
...but on a site for hobbyists and providers, I think you're preaching to the choir. I suggest we all contact our representatives in Government informing them of our views and asking them to change the legislation.
I try to imagine the State Senator or Representative who leads the charge (or even votes for) decriminalizing sex for money and then runing for re election.
They could take an approach to lump very minor victimless crimes into a category of infractions(minor traffic ticket) rather than give the person a damaging criminal records, this approach would also allow resources to be focused on more important issues.
If most common prostitution citations would result an reasonable fine & no criminal record. I think this would benefit our society much better that wasting resources & ruining lives.
