IMHO, you could be seen as suspicious or questioned IF she were being watched in general, but they'd have absolutely no reason to arrest you- I think you're safe.

I went to get a sensual massage a few weeks back. Enjoyed the service and left. We ended up talking via email and became friends. Now we meet up every once and a while and barter - basically sensual massage for sensual massage. No money exchanged. However, this is her business and she makes her income on other gents.

My question is this - since no money is being exchanged, am I safe from getting busted (assuming it ever happened)? Also, if say I were to pay her $60 (cost of a therapeutic) would I be in the clear - or would that still be considered payment for services?

Another related idea - I have seen another provider offer barter in the exchange of massage for services (e.g. legal services, website design, graphics, etc). How is that viewed by the LE?

so technically it changes nothing, and may even raise questions of tax law offenses.

In practical matters, it probably makes LE's job tougher because nothing is better, evidence-wise, than seeing cold hard cash changing hands.  I very much doubt that LE would try to send a decoy who talks about bartering services rather than accepting cash.

As far as straight swapping erotic massages goes, this is nothing more than two people who are friends engaging in sexual activity.  Saints be praised that the Supreme Court has finally legalized that (and fairly recently too, believe it or not.)

You may go to hell depending on your church, but you won't be going to jail.

(still not a lawyer, or a theologian)

(sorry so late for reply but was out of town)

I guess what I was concerned with was that this woman sees many men in a given week for massage. All paying, I assume. So if LE was watching her, I could be viewed as a paying customer.

So, let's say I went to her house, she locked the front doors, I checked out the house and made sure no one was inside but us. At that point, how could I be busted by LE? Afterwards, in the parking lot? Or do they have to see exchange of money, assuming I gave her a tip?

Therefore, if I check the house and no LE, bugs (verbally don't discuss money) cameras (seeing money exchange), etc, is it safe to assume that everything is fine?

And about the barter of services, we make no mention about what we are bartering during the massage so I can't see a reason to get busted for that.
