Yes...

And I assume it does...LE shows up in overwhelming force, and is everywhere in no time flat.  Not a place you want to be when it occurs...if you are lucky, they may let you walk away unscathed, but don't count on that...

In my case I was the target of a CL sting.  I was new to the hobby and very stupid to post on CL.  (Hard lesson to learn!)

Anyway, the client was in my room and we were talking about different things.  he had two band-aids criss crossed on his chest, which I now know was a wireless transmitter.  (Ask your provider to get comfortable and look for band aids!)  He got to the issue of money, I told him he could put HIS money on the dresser if he'd like and then BAM BAM BAM on the door and 8 cops were storming the place.

I leanred a lot from the experience.  The cops in Long Beach, California have a grant to vigorously pursue the hobby.  They specifically target online providers and clients.  The vice team was joking around about other stings they were working on, including several that included clients.

My attorney was kind enough to provide me with some good education.

Never discuss any specific acts.
Never discuss money.
ONLY discuss TIME.

This is probably all pretty basic to those on TER, however I still have to get through several rounds of court dates.

Thankfully it's a first offense.  I will NOT be having any further offenses!!!
