These questions are best answered by your lawyer (I hope you do avail yourself of one.)  Generally, yes, it's a fine, but there are other outcomes too.  (Some places will impound and auction off your car if it was used as a part of the "crime".

Without knowing more about the specifics of this legal case, it's impossible to say what may happen for sure.  It may also depend if you have any "priors".

I know of no cases where solicitation of prostitution has been labeled a sex crime requiring registration, etc.

Again your lawyer is the best one to advice you on the ramifications of being caught.  Get a good enough lawyer and depending on the circumstances, who knows, he might even get you off.  (Legally speaking, of course.

I know of no state that would require you to register as a sex offender.

You probably will have you name published and/or broadcast on TV and radio.  You will probably spend a few hours in jail until you post bond.  You may have to do some community service and/or pay a fine.  

You could get jail time, but if you have a lawyer and a farily clean record, this would be an extreme situation.  More than likely it would be community service and/or fine if convicted.
