Not a lawyer, and not familiar with GA law in particular.  But here's some generalities 'till someone posts more specific info.

In all the states I have specific knowledge of (4) the hobbyist's role is a misdeamenor.  Pretty sure it is in other states too.

In the 3 states I know of, sodomy is still illegal between adults in 1 of them (VA).

Don't know about statute of limitiations.
