i have a chronic medial condition with an unfavorable outcome that is not well controlled my mediation in the amounts i can tolerate. eventually a lung transplant might help but i would rather not.

my Dr is female and suggested that a change in lifestyle might help near term. she suggested i get more of a social life but a civy one is overly complicated and stressful, not a good idea.

so i hit upon the hobby. a simple sex romp doesn't cut it but long dates that simulate the illusion of a GF with a good actress proved to be very effective. i've had a stretch of 7 months in which i was completely symptom free, heart murmur disappeared and i was able to work out in the gym like i used to.

i received a PM this morning suggesting that a discussion of the legal question of insurance for this might make an interesting topic.

i know that many insurances won't even deal with talk sex therapy. so i have no illusions about insurance paying for GFE as therapy.

so i am just offering this up for comment and any insights.

I am no longer married but believe me when I say that, over the last six or seven years of my marriage, LTR's with my various ATF's have been the best part of my social and sex life.  With the help and encouragement of my current gal I have lost weight, gotten into a healthier regimen of working out and eating healthier and generally regained the positive out look on the world and life in general that had been in hibernation for the last several years.

We joke all the time about our "counseling sessions" and I get a kick out of calling her my "life coach".  The best part is that, with the right lady, it can really be a two way street...

If I could see my ATF for the price of a prescription deductible or a doctor's visit I would be booking with her twice a week!

at least it might take a little edge off the expense if the billing could be worked out.

i tried straight no hanky panky CMT treatments for about a year before i started the hobby. it was nice and enjoyable but very little in comparison for me. i need the connection, the illusion of romance a long dinner date provides it seems.

looks like i am looking for a CMT GFE who has good bookkeeping skills involving insurance? that will be hard to find in the search reviews function! ;-)

although it is an interesting point to consider, i think a quest for a GFE/CMT might be difficult. i've seen a few CMT therapists advertise with happy endings and no full service on a local board.

now that i think of it i can't imagine that the insurance would cover enough to make the effort of the billing worth the hassle....

it's just an amusing idea ;-)

An UTR massage gal I see, who is also a RN once worked at a chairopracter's office doing massage with happy endings.

It brought in a lot of customers and insurance was paying the bills.

Sounds like a win/win all around.

Has anyone else heard of this practice?

(still not a lawyer)

Had some old injuries that had been acting up, so began going regularly (once every two weeks)to a chiropractor's office for a legitimate therapeutic massage by a licensed therapist. She was a hottie who over time took to dressing a little more provactively each time I came...not exactly Victoria's Secrets stuff, but her attire morphed from lab coat, pants and nurse shoes to shorts, ight t-shirts and sandals. We became friends over time, and she eventually confessed to me that she had previously worked at a steam-and-cream prior to becoming licensed. Sensed that she was measuring my reaction...which was to share my experiences. One thing led to another...and soon she was resuming previous "techniques." So it happens...of course this was long ago, in a galaxy far, far away (1992-KC,MO)

I was still in the Army at the time. I didn't  seek a statement of non-availability (on the basis of the treatment not being available at an Army medical facility), since I knew they wouldn't give me one anyways.

In this regard the fantasy (and irony) is I suppose incomplete; but at least given today's political climate, no one has to get their panties in a bunch over Uncle Sam subsidizing happy endings.

Mr. Fisher,

I adore you but think you are off the mark with this post.  Anyone seeking massage w/ happy ending should be encouraged to see ladies who OFFER such work.  Can you imagine the discomfort of a legit practitioner when the gent rolls over nekkid to ask if there is more on the menu?!?

Massage therapists spend money and time earning their licenses.  Most would never consider what you are suggesting.  It is an ethics violation that would yank the ability to ever hold or work with professional license again.  That's without adding in the sex related charges they are now open to, charges of insurance fraud, and/or any other negative affects.

Many clients who see massage therapists who work for chiros pay the front desk, not the practitioner directly.  Any professional medical office that would turn a blind eye to hankey pankey is risking felony charges as well.  Not to mention what that would do to the malpractice insurance and the wide open door for sexual discrimination and harassment suits!

I believe you that this has happened.  Please do not make it sound like a common occurrence.  Thanks!

anyway for now it looks as though the practical thing to do is to simply do as i am doing and have one or two outings a month with a suitably entertaining escort.

having tried and failed with the CMT route i don't know that a happy ending chiropractor is going to be much of an improvement over that if it could be found. i think that the extended period of contact that i seem to need is going to make this a difficult task for a body work person.

i like the escort long dinner date format, it seems to be what works best so far. but there is no harm keeping on the lookout for other alternatives.
