I have been asked by a provider to give her rides to her appointments. As she is a special friend I do not accept the money she offers me, and since we became "Friends" I no longer see her as a provider. I just enjoy her company. I have 2 questions:
1) Is this acting as a pimp?
2) What legal consiquences I might face?
Just as a side issue our daughtes go to school together and I give them rides to school each morning. I also drive her and/or her mother to the store when needed.

1) You're not acting as a pimp since you're not employing her in a criminal enterprise.

2) You might face criminal solicitation or prostitution promotion charges as an accessory to knowingly helping out her illegal provider services in spite of your good intentions.  Please make sure never to drive the kids to school with your friend in the car enroute to any subsequent morning outcall.  The last thing you need is for LE to pull you over enroute to an outcall sting with terrified kids in the car.
