Was wondering, who among you would help a lady out or be on retainer for legal concerns involving the hobby?

Especially interested in Atlanta area, although I am sure there are tons of ladies all over the country who would be interested in retaining counsel should something happen. (Example just below!)

If you are available for hire in these matters, and have experience: How would a lady know how to find you?

Never been busted, and would like to keep in that way- But it would be nice to have a number to call if it were to happen!

The ethical obligations placed upon attorneys who accept retainers is too long to be discussed here.  

As sidone (whose posts are always well thought out) has said more than once here, an attorney cannot advise you how to break the law.

Look at my reply to another post within the last week for suggestions about finding an experienced attorney.  If you hope to find one through TER, limit your posts to the Atlanta board; you would want an attorney familiar with local jurisdictions.

I'm a lawyer in the Atlanta area.  I visit this site daily, but don't post much, because not a lot to add.

However, I do just the kind of work you might need advice with, and you would not be the first provider I've helped.

I appreciate the vote of confidence.  But what PollingPlace asked for was a lawyer who would be available to represent her if she's arrested, not to help her avoid arrest.  Only the latter would involve giving improper advice.  There is nothing improper about the type of retainer Polling Place has in mind.

Not only that, but there is nothing wrong with helping someone avoid arrest if the advice involve taking appropriate legal actions.  Granted, advising someone how to break the law is not permitted, but there are legal and ethical ways to help someone avoid being arrested.
