But I would agree, that if this is all that she is going on, it's not too smart.

I recall a first date the lady wanted my name and landline number.  I'm sure she did a reverse look up to verify the number matched the address.  
She probably used that information to cross referance with the other info I'd made in conversation...  
All went well & I still see her.

Listen honey if she is very classy and know what she doing it is the code of conducted.  She will not say who you are.  The reason why ladys do this kind of screening is because if she in danger she has something to fall back on.  If she a good provide you will be in good hands.  I keep handle names and this is it.

all you do need is a phone number (you could give me a bogus name and number) however I ensure that I get a first and last name email ter handle date-check how old you are and references if not I get your address if you are licensed professional (atty/dr ect) this makes it even easier. Then I will ask you some questions like your date of birth is this or this and you live on this street and your middle name is this or this. I even know how much in property taxes you paid! lol I destroy this information once we meet.  I just ensure you are not on the predator list, been in prison or priors for assault and battery and of course time waster (yes there is three websites for that) I punch in the name and phone if your on the bad lists I wont see you either. Sorry in this day and age due to the economy and time is money I cant afford wasting either! lol
