That is why we do not use our real names on site (If you are  it is time to change)and do not give personal information that would allow criminals to shake us down (use alias when the info makes you visible or liable.)
Remember Louie Anderson,the comedian who finally had a big TV quiz show, got outed as a gay by a blackmailer, came forward courageously and refused to pay off, and shortly thereafter lost the big payday the quiz show was providing. Yep, this is a real problem. Keep this in mind if you have a handle that is your real name or one that points in your direction. Also avoid giving too much personal info unless you have Louie's courage and his by now probably his debts.....I know Louie, a nice guy! But as you know, nice guy finish last if they get a chance to get started....maybe he should have outed himself way back when???
