First of all the Vice Squad doesn't have TIME to have a 'face to face' with everyone on some data base.
Second, you have NO obligation to talk to them at all, much less go in for an interview until they have a warrant. This would be a classic 'I want a lawyer and I'm not saying a thing without one' situation.  
Third, so what?  Your name on a data base is evidence of nothing.  Even if it listed what you theoretically spent on a lady/recieved for services, I seriously doubt that it would be admissable in court as it is 'hearsay' unless the provider/agency booker is willing to swear to it all.
Finally, FBI, Homeland Security, various federal agencies, year long investigation?  To bust an Agency? Ludicrous (sp?).

No doubt if some one is feeling guilty & volunteers to go be interviewed...  LE will see if they can't get you to implicate yourself or others.

I'm concerned and if anyone has any legal advice for me about going about finding a specialized lawyer...please PM me or email...

1. Are you referring to the MFP servers?

2. How do you know the servers were in FL?

3. If the servers ARE in FL, how does that affect the MFP members?

The MPD just spent a year investigating the Minnesota nice guys...those officers could spare some time now to conduct interviews with all the Twin Cities residents in the Myfastpass database (membership was nowhere near the size of TER).  

I haven't dealt with the site myself, but wasn't it more than just a listing of people-like having message boards and PM like here?  If so, there is little doubt that law enforcement has obtained that information, which means that getting a warrant may be pretty darn easy if people didn't watch what they said.  Even if they can't get a warrant, there is nothing stopping them from showing up at your house when your wife/kids/significant other/friends are there and asking you very loudly why you were involved with a prostitution related website.

So really, I wouldn't be so quick to say this is just scare tactics.  

P.S. I don't know which article(s) you read, but one of them that mentions DHS/FBI involvement didn't point out that the "MN Nice Guys" were involved with transporting people who entered the country illegally.  A year long investigation and such manpower seems excessive but in this case I wouldn't call it ludicrous.

when you started escorting was to know the name of a lawyer. Every major city has lawyers who handle hobbying issues. You need to have the tele# of a lawyer before you encounter LE, not after. Do a little research, if you have a escort friend, ask her, being prepared is importnant.IMHO
