Start of by talking like a grown up. Beyond that I would say do your research and stick to providers who are well reviewed here on TER.

I've hobbied for thirty-five years, about thrity of them without the aid of TER in screening the gals I see.  Yet, I've never had so much as a brush with LE.

In short, the odds are pretty low, especially if you don't go after street walkers.

Massage parlors used to be safe, but today they are a target of LE, especially the Asian ones, so you might want to lay off of those.

In short, stay with well reviewed gals on TER and similar sites and you shouldn't have to give much care to LE.  Read the Newbie Manual also for tips on how to avoid LE.
