I've had so many e-mails this past week from providers who have told me of stings being set up currently all over the O.C., and I.E., using upscale Hotels. Also, I'm sure they will always use Motel 6's, lol. I started using CL when I relocated to the O.C. from SanDiego a few years ago. I ran into a few of my old TER clients along the way, the same ones who scream never to use CL. LOL. I didn't have the same amount of business here as I enjoyed in San Diego, so CL worked out really well for me here. I have so many great clients I've gotten to know from CL., believe it or not, and not had much of a problem with robs, etc.. I think we attract clients as we would be from CL by the way we put ourself's out there. If you post skanky ads at 3am, you are sure to get that type of a clientell I would think? But, I think it's imperative at the moment for EVDERYONE here, there, and everywhere to be aware that the O.C., and I.E. pd depts/sherriffs, are putting on an agressive sting for the next 6 weeks. Be very careful.
It was sent to me, and I read it in a providers only forum. Over on HX. Be careful, it apprears they are triing to return the O.C. back like it was just a few years ago, which was pretty scary. When I moved here a few years ago, everyone, and I mean everyone said, 'watch the hell out', you don't want to work 'Behind the Orange Curtain'. I didn't quite get it, then Troothsayers came along, now HX, and it all changed, and tons of girls started coming here to work. Apparently, LE is triing to put it back to, 'behind the Orange Curtain'.
Balboa, I think that L.A. LE have always been a little easier on the profession, they have bigger fish to fry. I read I think last year on this forum about a community get together in West L.A.,(I think) and how they wouldn't really be interested in going after internet 'dates'. That there was a lot of other crimes going on in L.A. that took up most of their time? In the O.C., I think gangs are most of the bigger crimes around here? Not sure, but they are pretty bored it's seems like, because they take an active role here in 'dates'.
yes ,they were in OC & I don't even live in OC, they knew they were luring me from Far away, & my ad was a demure personal ad for a life long companion... no talk of money or sex... & a lunch date gets you accused of 647b, i thought thta IF A MAN BECAME AGGRESSIVE & You say NO it was "attempted" date rape, he behave like a physchotic rapest & I get a 647B
